Kelley L. Eddington
Director of Investor Relations and Fund Administrator
Ms. Eddington joined PTV Sciences in 2002 and manages the
marketing efforts, including due diligence for potential
investors; and creates and approves all company print
collateral. She also interfaces with large university
endowments, family offices, and high net worth individuals
as the single point of contact. Ms. Eddington facilitates
all investor reporting, including: quarterly reports,
audited reports, web-based reports, tax returns, capital
calls, distributions, all correspondence, and annual
investor meetings.
Additionally, Ms. Eddington is involved in the due diligence
process for all new investments and financings.
Ms. Eddington graduated with a B.A. from the University of
Houston.
Lauren E. Forshey
Manager of Finance
Ms. Forshey focuses on
the financial and operational evaluation of venture
investments in the medical device and life science sectors.
Ms. Forshey is also responsible for financial reporting to
limited partners including periodic portfolio updates and
valuation reviews.
Ms. Forshey works closely with the management team on
various strategic aspects of portfolio management including
marketing, fundraising, and community relations.
Ms. Forshey graduated with high honors from the McCombs
School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin and
holds a B.B.A. in Finance.
Brooke C.
Akins
Office Manager and Senior Executive Assistant
Ms. Akins
oversees the daily operations of the Austin office. She
is responsible for the development and implementation of
operational systems and procedures, maintains
relationships with critical office vendors, including IT
infrastructure and support, and manages the
administrative office staff.
Ms. Akins
continues to directly support the executive management
team acting as a communications liaison between the
team, portfolio companies, and advisory members.
Ms. Akins
graduated with College honors from the University of
Illinois at Chicago with a B.A. in Sociology.
