Brooke C. Akins
Director of Investor Relations
Mrs. Akins joined PTV Sciences in 2008,
becoming the Director of Investor Relations
in 2010. Her responsibilities include
management of the investor relations
department, developing marketing and media
communications and providing oversight on
the company’s IT infrastructure. Mrs. Akins
considers her first obligation is to the
investors, focusing on direct
communications, investment collateral and
chairing PTV's annual limited partner
meeting. Previously, Mrs. Akins worked as
education coordinator for AVEDA Services
Great Lakes, based in Chicago, Illinois,
where she worked closely with educators to
facilitate both continuing education and
seasonal launches of AVEDA products and
services.
Mrs. Akins graduated with College honors from
the University of Illinois at Chicago with a
B.A. in Sociology.
Lauren F. Chauret
Manager of Finance
Mrs. Chauret joined PTV Sciences in 2007 and serves as the Manager of Finance. Mrs. Chauret is responsible for financial reporting and portfolio company valuations for the PTV funds. She also manages the investment process, overseeing the initial review of investment opportunities and collaborating with the PTV investment team throughout the due diligence process and negotiation of investment terms. Post investment, Mrs. Chauret works with portfolio company management on follow-on investments, strategic planning, and other legal and financial matters.
Mrs. Chauret graduated with high honors from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin and holds a B.B.A. in Finance.
Hunter R. Lentz
Analyst
Mr. Lentz originally joined PTV Sciences in 2009, beginning his internship with PTV as an analyst for the firm. Mr. Lentz is engaged in nearly all aspects of venture capital investing from tracking and screening incoming business plans, conducting market due diligence, writing investment memorandums, investment opportunity identification and ongoing analytical support for PTV’s portfolio companies. Previously, Mr. Lentz worked at Apollo Endosurgery where he supported marketing and sales efforts surrounding the development and commercialization of the company’s flexible surgical platform.
Mr. Lentz graduated from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin and holds a B.B.A. in Finance. |
